After attempts in Nairobi, we now have a local Dutch architect, Frans van Leijsen, who is gratuitously helping with the design of the building. We are now making a renewed attempt at getting the building moving.

From Broeders Health Store in Oosterhout (and the producers Lamberts and Optimax) we regularly receive a box of vitamins for the kids of Matunda. A healthy business!
Dentist Mrs. M.P. Jansen in Oosterhout donated a number of toothbrushes and tubes of toothpastse for the kids.
From the nonprofit organization Poncho in Waalwijk, we received a generous donation. They have a store for second-hand clothes, from which the profit goes to charitable organizations. They have made several generous donations to Matunda.
Our youngest sponsor by far is six year old Bram de Graaf. He was apparently so impressed with poor kids in Africa that don’t have enough to eat, often no parents, and no nice toys, that he sold his old toys at the yearly Queen’s birthday rummage sale and gave the entire profit (€100!) to Matunda.
