It has finally happened – the building of the new Matunda in Nairobi has started! We had to look awhile to find a dependable partner there to oversee the construction, but in Joash we found a good man on the ground there.
We have known Joash a long time as an experienced tour agency owner (see his site), and he was always able to react to unknown and changing circumstances, but his quick and efficient work has really surprised us again.
Of course we want to see for ourselves how everything is going there, so Charles will be leaving April 12 for Nairobi. He’ll be there three weeks to follow the entire process and meet with all involved to not only finish the building, but to look at the future once we are in the new Matunda center.
