We’re getting closer

Now it’s time for the roofs. The first was the wooden construction on the main building, with red metal sheets as covering.  The same is true of the kitchen, but the roof on the toilets needs to carry a large water tank that will be used for rainwater collection, so it’s made of concrete.

And then the plastering was started for inside and out. In the end, the walls will be painted to give that last finishing touch. We are looking at tiles on the floors, as cement is not only hard and relatively rough, but it wears down in the course of time.

The outline cut into the wall on one picture is where the blackboard will be, a painted black wall.
