Yearly Report 2019

Again this year the kids are doing fine, both at Matunda and in school. Ivy was able to start school this year with the help of a sponsor. Joseph (second Joseph) and Bralla will hopefully be able to start school next year when they turn four.

Esther and Joseph had been at Matunda since 2017, but both went with their mothers and moved upcountry because of financial problems. This is often done, as Nairobi is more expensive and “going home” to relatives is less expensive and there is often more support.

Antifungal medication is given once every three months. This is a recurring problem and is treated preventively.

We still don’t have all the birth certificates and are working on it.

The last couple of years we have given food packages out at Christmas time.

The board in Kenia has not been active in helping at Matunda.
